Lawrence Partnership's first year to be recapped

During the past year, Lawrence Partnership has made significant strides in the Lawrence community. In early October, Lawrence Partnership announced the launch of $1 million Lawrence Venture Fund, designed with the intention of providing low-cost financing opportunities to local businesses in or around the downtown area that would otherwise be turned away.

Mitchell said the foundation has seen success since the October launch of the Lawrence Venture Fund, which he plans to address more in depth at the Nov. 18 event.
