Giving small businesses a place to grow
by Eagle Tribune

“They gave me a whole kitchen to just run with and see what I can make out of it,” Gonzalez, 36, said after stepping to the stage to tell his story and say thanks to the Partnership at a luncheon on the sixth floor of the former Wood Mill on Merrimack Street, part of Lupoli’s Riverwalk development. “They’re giving me an opportunity of a lifetime — a kitchen rent-free to give me a taste of entrepreneurship and the kitchen business. Once I’m done with this venture, they’re going to help me open my own place. That’s the beautiful part of it. They’re going to help me open my own place in Lawrence.”
