Lawrence Partnership teams up with Harvard Business School

Leaders from the front lines of grassroots organization to the upper echelons of real estate development in Lawrence are teaming up for an intensive seven month leadership program with Harvard Business School.

The Lawrence Leads program launched Monday as a partnership with the Harvard Business School and the Lawrence Partnership.

"We are thrilled to kick off this initiative with a cohort of 30 exceptional leaders that share a commitment to our city’s future," said Derek Mitchell, executive director of the Lawrence Partnership. "They represent a diversity of industries, perspectives, sectors and backgrounds that will not only elevate the quality of the programming, but will also ensure that the ideas that are catalyzed can get put into action."

The program aims to invest in a cohort of Lawrence leaders as a key strategy to investment in the city itself.
