New leader sees strong potential in Lawrence Partnership

The Lawrence Partnership recently announced its new board chairwoman, Marianne Paley Nadel, a familiar face to many in the city, especially those who have spent any time in the Everett Mills.

Paley Nadel, owner/manager of the Everett Mills, took on the new role on July 1, replacing the founding chairman Lane Glenn, president of Northern Essex Community College.

"It represents a pretty big milestone," said Derek Mitchell, executive director of Lawrence Partnership. "Not just because of the transition of leadership, but the partnership was founded with Lane as the founding board chair ... the organization was at a point where we could make that kind of transition, and continue to evolve and grow."
